Acupuncture for Pain Relief

APPOINTMENTS
Acupuncture is a natural, safe and effective way to treat pain. There is a myriad of studies that point to the benefits of acupuncture for a wide variety of pain-related conditions.  The most common ones would be muscle pain and arthritis. Interestingly, acupuncture is also very effective for other sources of pain, including neurological, digestive and hormonal (e.g. pain associated to the menstrual cycle) dysfunction.

The reason why there is so much breadth in the use of acupuncture for pain is because it was designed to treat not just the ailments that directly affect people but the whole person.  This wholistic approach takes into consideration not just the direct causes of pain but also, other contributing factors (your overall health, strength, diet, sleep amongst many others). In addition to that we look at how such problem is affecting you in your life; what activities you are not able to do, how you are feeling about it, we help you identify mental blocks, what this pain represents in your life, etc. All in all, our process is a healing journey the we do together.  For this reason, most of our treatments are different from one another.  We see you, we hear your story, and address where you are in the present moment. We hold space for you as you heal and get profound relief.

We recognize that pain is something natural, it is the way that the body has to help us bring attention to a problem. How you respond to such a call will determine how things are going to be for your body later on.   Part of what we do at Montes Rose Acupuncture is provide you with knowledge that you can use at home for yourself and those around you. This comes in the form of exercises, stretches, visualizations, rituals and other tools to transcend your limitations, move freely and thrive.
